28:10. וַיִּשָּׁבַע לָהּ שָׁאוּל בַיהוָה לֵאמֹר חַי־יְהוָה אִם־יִקְּרֵךְ עָוֹן בַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה ׃

28:10. י וישבע לה שאול ביהוה לאמר  חי יהוה אם יקרך עון בדבר הזה

28:10. וַיִּשָּׁבַע לָהּ שָׁאוּל בַּיהוָה לֵאמֹר חַי־יְהוָה אִם־יִקְּרֵךְ עָוֹן בַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה׃

28:10. ‏וַיִּשָּׁ֤בַֽע לָהּ֙ שָׁא֔וּל בַּֽיהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר חַי־יְהוָ֕ה אִֽם־יִקְּרֵ֥ךְ עָוֹ֖ן בַּדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃

28:10. But Saul swore an oath to her by the LORD, "As surely as the LORD lives, you will not incur guilt in this matter!"

28:10. But Saul took an oath in the name of the LORD and promised, "As surely as the LORD lives, nothing bad will happen to you for doing this."

28:10. And Saul sware to her by Jehovah, saying, As Jehovah liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

28:10. But Saul swore to her by the LORD, "As the LORD lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing."

28:10. And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, [As] the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

28:10. Saul used the Lord's name to make a promise to the woman. He said, "As surely as the Lord lives, you won't be punished for doing this."

28:10. Saul swore to her by Yahweh, saying, As Yahweh lives, there shall no punishment happen to you for this thing.
